I was disappointed with my room's bathroom cleanliness. it had mold and looked nothing like the advertised photos. When I raised this concern, management assured me improvements would follow, yet things felt off. The check-in process was sluggish, and initially, the staff's attitude left much to be desired.

We stayed for 3 nights in a Classic Double Room, which had a modern and spacious layout. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking views from the roof terrace! The friendly bartender at the hotel bar served perfectly-mixed cocktails that were a great way to unwind after a day exploring Innsbruck. The location is convenient, just a short walk from the station and the charming Old Town, making the Innsbruck Welcome Card for free public transport a real bonus.

Breakfast had a decent selection, yet the experience was marred by receiving a different room than expected, with a lack of responsiveness regarding issues like additional pillows and ventilation trouble in our room.

i absolutely loved my stay at schwarzer adler! the hotel is super close to the city center, making everything easily accessible. the staff was so welcoming and even upgraded us to an amazing suite! also, the small relaxation area with the sauna was a great place to unwind after exploring.

Only downside was no balcony. Location was perfect, just 5 minutes to the sights and close to public transport. Breakfast had delicious options too.
